Cause to celebrate!

The following is featured in the Dover-Sherborn Press releases RSS feed:

The Dover Town Library is ranked seventh in the nation and #1 in Massachusetts for its population category, according to the HAPLR rankings. The HAPLR index rates, scores, and then ranks more than 9,000 American libraries using the latest federal data (library statistics collected in 2005) based on 15 factors. These factors focus on circulation, staffing, materials, reference service and funding levels.

Congratulations to the entire Dover community and the Dover Library staff!
Additional information about the rankings can be found at www.haplr-index.com, or on the American Libraries Web site, http://www.haplr-index.com/HAPLR08_CorrectedVersionOctober8_2008.pdf.
